TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 01 :
icked you
up in Jakarta at 5am than transfer to south tip of Cimahi, the village
located on the border and slopes of Mount Honje - Ujung Kulon National
Park. The village features refreshing atmosphere and calming nature,
which acts as a natural border between the village and the wilderness.
This leisurely hike (3 - 5 hours) into the lowland rainforest lets you
explore a variety of tropical flora and fauna under the vast canopy.
Your guide will help you spot birdlife and other wildlife along the way
to Cikacang at Honje Mountain range the slope of this area the habitats
of the Java gibbon, black monkey and variety of animal and birdlife, In
the afternoon around 4.30 pm you will arrive where you will stay
overnight at your campsite. Now you can swim and relax and enjoy
afternoon coffee and tea. Our team will prepare your jungle dinner of
local Indonesian food over an open campfire - Jungle night walks offer a
unique opportunity to experience the rainforest’s nocturnal
biodiversity, including spiders, snakes, tree frogs, and nocturnal
mammals, then you have the opportunity to play games, sing around the
fire or just look at the stars and review the first day of your
trek, tents, mosquito nets, mattress, pillows and sleeping bags will
make your jungle sleep comfortable. Overnight at by camping/dinner (free
program).
DAY 02 :
After
breakfast enjoy a quick hike across the lush rainforest of Ujung Kulon,
You will continue your trek through the rainforest going deeper into the
jungle while having a bigger chance to see wildlife there. While hiking
up and down the hills heading towards the east side of the national
park your guide will point out different jungle habitants and plants
species for you while giving lots of explanation about the rainforest
and its biodiversity. While hiking up and down the hills and crossing
small rivers you acquire traditional jungle survival knowledge. If you
are lucky there is also a chance to Javan gibbon, black leaf monkey,
wild board are also found the Java Rhino occasionally sighted in this
region - The fantastic scenery in the national park will be a memorable
experience for you. The campsite for the second night will be next to
the Air Moka River where you will arrive around 3:30 pm. There is a big
chance to see silver Gibbon and black lemur - Jungle night walks offer a
unique opportunity to experience the rainforest’s nocturnal
biodiversity, including spiders, snakes, tree frogs, and nocturnal
mammals Our team will offer you an Indonesian dinner and refreshments
before you can dream to the sounds of nocturnal jungle life. Overnight
at by camping/dinner (free program)
DAY 03 :
Aftrer breakfast at 7AM continue by boat than cruise/seasighting to Handeleum Island - the island is surrounded by beautiful mangrove forest, The views of the jungle mangrove are almost as beautiful as the views of the rainforest, The habitat of salt water crocodile, type of birds are occasionally sight in this area. The charm of this sea lies in its tranquil, primeval beauty, yet full of primeval – mangrove forest and trees that have fallen into the sea. The rich colors of the place are so wonderful, and the strong tropical sun creates great pools of mottled light on the river’s surface, continue to Peucang Island is known for its stunning beaches, which offer crystal-clear waters and white sand - is truly a secluded paradise located at the most western edge of Java Island. Surrounded by a soft white sandy beach, clear blue waters, and enchanting coral reefs, Peucang promises serenity for whoever steps on its sands. and is home to a variety of species of wild animals such as monkeys, hornbills, monitor lizards, wild boards, toucans, sea hawks, and more. the most notable of these is the barking deer that are found abundantly around the island. Arrive than check in at Peucang island lodge - to explore Peucang Island trekking to the Karang Copong ( hike 3 hours to north of Peucang island) passes through primary forest. Also you can see kind of huge trees like Ficus or Liana. sometimes we could see common wildlife animals such as; wild pig peacock, hornbill and others. As well as you’ll see huge plants like Ficus or Liana. After an hour trekking, we’ll take a rest at Karang Copong, back to lodge/rest/beaching.Having dinner/free program.
DAY 04 :
After breakfast at 7Am continue on boat trip to Cidaon Grazing Ground : is a savanna located on the west side of Peucang Island on Ujung Kulon peninsula. Here, you can spot wild bulls, deer, green peacock, leopard, birds and other animals grazing in their natural habitat, continue to Citerjun coral reef for snorkeling to see variety of tropical colorful fish (Among some of the dwellers of Peucang Island underwater realm are butterfly fish, angel fish, clown fish, cockatoo fish, and a whole lot more) Return to village arrive than transfer back to Jakarta. End the trip.

WHAT TO BRING?
If you do jungle trekking you don’t really need special clothing or equipment but there are a few useful things to bring ( especially during our overnight treks ) :
Light T-shirt, long trousers and long socks for the trek (preferably in dark colors) Long trousers, long sleeved shirts or T-shirt with sweater for the evening and night time in the jungle,
Comfortable walking shoes suitable for trekking + flip flops or sandals for the camp
sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, mosquito repellent, toilet paper and garbage bag,swimwear, towel, dry bag for dirty/wet clothes
flip flops for the campsite, torchlight, binoculars ( optional ), camera equipment and battery pack, personal items ( hygiene products, medicine) ; personal medical kit and recommended medicine like anti diarrhea medicine, dehydration salt, aspirin and antibiotic
