TOUR ITINERARY

 

DAY 01 :

 

Picked you up in Jakarta at 5am than transfer to south coast of Sumur village take approx. 5 hrs (breakfast on the way) continue by boat than cruise/sea sighting to Peucang Island - A green tropical island with a white sand beach features lush jungles, swaying prime forest, and clear turquoise water - is known for its stunning beaches, which offer crystal-clear waters and white sand swaying prime forest, and clear turquoise water - is known for its stunning beaches, which offer crystal-clear waters and white sand - is truly a secluded paradise located at the most western edge of Java Island. Surrounded by Ujung kulon lowland rainforest soft white sandy beach, clear blue waters, and enchanting coral reefs, Peucang promises serenity for whoever steps on its sands. and is home to a variety of species of wild animals such as monkeys, hornbills, monitor lizards, wild boards, toucans, sea hawks, and more. The most notable of these is the barking deer that are found abundantly around the island. Arrive than check in at Peucang island lodge - Continue on boat trip to Cidaon Grazing Ground : is a savanna located on the west side of Peucang Island on Ujung Kulon peninsula. DAY 02 :

 

After breakfast at 7am walk to explore the Karang Copong ( North of Peucang island ) Trekking in a prime or old-growth primary forest offers a pure nature experience among ancient trees, rich wildlife, and untouched ecosystems, passes through primary forest. Also you can see kind of huge trees like Ficus or Liana. sometimes we could see common wildlife animals such as; wild pig peacock, hornbill and others. As well as you’ll see huge plants like Ficus or Liana. Towering, hundreds-of-years-old canopies that block out most direct sunlight. After an hour trekking, we’ll take a rest at Karang Copong, back to lodge/rest/beaching. Continue to Citerjun coral reef for snorkeling to see variety of tropical colorful fish (Among some of the dwellers of Peucang Island underwater realm are butterfly fish, angel fish, clown fish, cockatoo fish, and a whole lot more) continue by boat for returm back to Taman Jaya Village than stop over at small Island Just off shore here is a tiny, sandy island, Badul, which is surrounded by a good reef. You enter the water from about 1 meters. Coral growth around with the variety of both hard and soft corals was good. Visibility during our snorkeling was less than 8 meters. Schools of bannerfish, angelfish, surgeonfish, clownfish, batfish, butterfly fish and fusiliers inhabit the reef, and we saw some bright nudibranchs. Overnight at lodge/dinner

 

DAY 03 :

 

After breakfast at 7am continue for jungle tour - enjoy a quick hike across the lush rainforest of Ujung Kulon on this 4 - 6 hours adventure designed for nature lovers. The trek described leads into a lowland rainforest found on a peninsula in a biodiverse region, where you can observe a multitude of Ujung Kulon's unique species, including exotic flora and rare fauna. For those seeking a "jungle trek," specific guided routes in Ujung Kulon mainland provide the opportunity to track the Javan rhinoceros in its natural habitat. This jungle trekking tour takes you deep into the wilderness, crossing a variety of paths that range from dense highland forest to lowland rainforest. Along the way, you may spot the Javan gibbon, Javan leopard, Java bull, and hornbills, which are occasionally seen in this region. Immerse yourself in the raw beauty of Ujung Kulon's jungle, discover its rich biological treasures, and experience its lush, untamed rainforest. back to lodge/overnight (free program)

 

DAY 04 :

 

Morning jungle tour - taking you through the hidden beauty of Honje mountain. During this jungle trekking tour you will go really deep into the jungle, you will hike more off the beaten tracks, crossing different kind of jungle paths. Walk through lush jungle trails and river to discover Leopard, Gibbon, Java eagle’s most scenic rainforest, enjoy a quick hike discover the hidden treasures of Ujung Kulon's Rainforest. Experience one of the most ancient rainforests on this tropical peninsula with a 4 - 6 mile round-trip trekking through the dense forest. Get in touch with the nature and explore Ujung Kulon’s biological treasures and its lush rainforest. This leisurely hike into the lowland rainforest lets you explore a variety of tropical flora and fauna under the vast canopy, return to lodge /overnight/dinner (free program)

WHAT TO BRING?

 If you do jungle trekking you don’t really need special clothing or equipment but there are a few useful things to bring (especially during our overnight treks) :

    Light T-shirt, long trousers and long socks for the trek (preferably in dark colors) Long trousers, long sleeved shirts or T-shirt with sweater for the evening and night time in the jungle,

Comfortable walking shoes suitable for trekking + flip flops or sandals for the camp

      sunscreen, hat, sunglasses,  mosquito repellent, toilet paper and garbage bag,swimwear, towel, dry bag for dirty/wet clothes

    flip flops for the campsite,   torchlight, binoculars ( optional ), camera equipment and battery pack,  personal items ( hygiene products, medicine) ; personal medical kit and recommended medicine like anti diarrhea medicine, dehydration salt, aspirin and antibiotic
