TOUR ITINERARY

 

DAY 01 :

 

We picked you up in Jakarta at 5am than we get the car to Ciboleger takes about 3 hours through passes hills, paddy field (Javanese agricultural) arrived at Ciboleger (the gate to Baduy tribe) directly trekking through villages of Baduy such us : Kadu Ketug, Kadu jangkung, Kadu Keter then tracking to Gajeboh villages passes the spectacular bamboo bridge, After lunch we continue for return back than stop over to see view around the village ( to see they make cloth, wooden bag from skin. bracelets ect) Then continuing to Cigula crossing other bamboo bridge to Cicakal we will stop over in Baduy lake than back to Ciboleger - than transfer to south coast of Taman Jaya Village where the road down the coastline ends, is just outside the park boundary. The village features refreshing atmosphere and calming nature. Overnight at lodge/dinner (free program)

 

DAY 02 :

 

After breakfast at 6am enjoy a quick hike across the lush rainforest than trek through the ancient Ujung Kulon Rainforest with a naturalist guide. enjoy a quick hike across the lush rainforest of Ujung Kulon on this 3 - 4 hours adventure designed for nature lovers. The trek described leads into a lowland rainforest found on a peninsula in a biodiverse region, where you can observe a multitude of Ujung Kulon's unique species, including exotic flora and rare fauna. For those seeking a "jungle trek," specific guided routes in Ujung Kulon mainland provide the opportunity to track the Javan rhinoceros in its natural habitat. This jungle trekking tour takes you deep into the wilderness, crossing a variety of paths that range from dense highland forest to lowland rainforest. Along the way, you may spot the Javan gibbon, Javan leopard, Java bull, and hornbills, which are occasionally seen in this region. DAY 03 :

 

 

After breakfast at 6am enjoy a quick hike across the lush rainforest of Ujung Kulon in this four-six hour morning tour for nature lovers! bring you into the lowland rainforest of Gunung Honje, Here you can observe a multitude of Ujung Kulon wildlife, including exotic flora and fauna. If you’re lucky, you may even come across flying lemurs, mouse deer, Javan gibbon, black leaf monkey, wild board, and civets during the evening are also found the Java Rhino occasionally sighted in this region. Back to lodge than continue cruising to a group of mangrove island (Handeleum) offers a peaceful journey through dense, winding water channels teeming with unique coastal wildlife. Spots feature traditional wooden boats gliding past tangled root systems A green, beautiful group of mangrove islands features lush, salt-tolerant trees rising from shallow turquoise waters. Their tangled root systems trap sediment to build new land, creating serene, emerald labyrinths that shelter fish, birds, and marine life along tropical coasts. Mangrove islands provide the ultimate home for the saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus). These tidal, brackish labyrinths offer dense root systems, murky channels, and abundant prey, allowing the world's largest living reptile to thrive as an apex predatorover, overnight at lodge/dinner (free program)

 

DAY 04 :

After breakfast at 7am check out  than continue to Ciawi - trekking is a unique combination of jungle and paddy field, taking you through the hidden beauty of Ujung Kulon peninsula, you will hike more off the beaten tracks, crossing different kind of jungle paths. Walk through lush jungle trails and river to discover Leopard, Gibbon, Java eagle’s most scenic rainforest, enjoy a quick hike discover the hidden treasures of Ujung Kulon's Rainforest. Experience one of the most ancient rainforests on this with a couple hours round-trip trekking. Get in touch with the nature and explore Ujung Kulon’s biological treasures and its lush rainforest. This leisurely hike into the high to  lowland rainforest lets you explore a variety of tropical flora and fauna under the vast canopy, back than transfer to Jakarta.

WHAT TO BRING?

 If you do jungle trekking you don’t really need special clothing or equipment but there are a few useful things to bring (especially during our overnight treks) :

    Light T-shirt, long trousers and long socks for the trek (preferably in dark colors) Long trousers, long sleeved shirts or T-shirt with sweater for the evening and night time in the jungle,

Comfortable walking shoes suitable for trekking + flip flops or sandals for the camp

      sunscreen, hat, sunglasses,  mosquito repellent, toilet paper and garbage bag,swimwear, towel, dry bag for dirty/wet clothes

    flip flops for the campsite,   torchlight, binoculars ( optional ), camera equipment and battery pack,  personal items ( hygiene products, medicine) ; personal medical kit and recommended medicine like anti diarrhea medicine, dehydration salt, aspirin and antibiotic
